Abama Golf
This resort course is simply spectacular set amongst 25,000 trees and tropical palms. It is an 18-hole, par 72 course with no less than 22 lakes. Although new, it has already hosted the Ladies European Tour. This is the course chosen by Bill Clinton (ex President of the USA) upon his visit in 2007.
It is built on the slopes to the coast and commands stunning views out to sea with La Gomera resplendent against a blue sea and sky. It was designed by Dave Thomas - San Roque Golf Club, The Belfry. The driving range is amazing in its own right and there is a three hole practice course as well. The golf carts have GPS, so you are never in doubt of the yardage. A further 9 holes still to be built, will turn this into a 27 hole course of some magnitude and raise the already high level of challenge.
