Golf del Sur - Golf
This is a 27 hole complex with huge greens and wide fairways. It was opened in 1987 and allows people to select any two sets of 9 holes for their round. The course management sometimes dictate which combinations are to be played.
This course is one of the more established clubs in Tenerife and has hosted a number of professional and European Tour events such as the PGA European Volvo Tour and its first Ladies European Tour in 2002.
The course is surrounded by giant cactus, palm trees, beautiful flowers and bushes all cared for to maintain the overall look of the course. Tenerife South airport is nearby, so be prepared for the fly through of planes on landing. When the wind has changed, their take offs can be noisey. But this doesn't spoil the game at all, in fact it provides a natural pause if you want to marvel the wonders and advancement of aviation.
